We may have a lock up controller finally ! I hit up brayden on DP today in a unrelated thread and he said call him if i want one that he can make me one ,called and arranged to have one by this weekend to run at the track . it just cost me a little extra to get him to agree to hurry it out so fast :rofl: i will keep you guys updated on how it works out . its supposed to cammand lock up @ 18 mph as long as the required TPS , BOOST, and MPH are met !

Didn't Ben post a schematic too?

I am curious to see Braydens. He usually puts his stuff together in a fancy control box.

i was supposed to go get a DPDT relay and resister today to do Bens method, then happend to talk with brayden today . it is supposed to install like a edge box on the bail connectors and have a logic controller in a control box .

Sounds fancy and expensive, which is cool. You would be a true badass if you made your own using a wiring diagram and a few parts. Good luck

not trying to be a "bad ass" just want to be fast and consistant .

Sorry I didn't think you would take it literally, I was just razzin ya.

More power to ya man, get that thing out on the track and report only good things. This is something many people are waiting for. Good luck

yes let me know how it goes too! I'd like to hear how it does for you as i'm still fighting lockup a little myself. Got a couple more things to try with the tuning but pretty much figuring it's not gonna happen without a co-pilot or something like this. Can you switch it on and off or does it just do it all the time? i KNOW my truck would benefit from it as i'm still occasionally not getting lockup until about 50 MPH from what the logs show...:(

i was able to answered why it was not locking in secound and it has been dead constant at 50-52 mph on lock up , but if it truly can lock at 18 mph it would be nice ! I know alot of guys need this more than me but happend to be in the possition to get one so we will see how it works .

I bet you will drop at least a tenth getting it to lock at the bottom of second gear.

There is a a switch to turn the mode on and off. Plus it's still a PWM apply... much faster ramp, but still PWM. That should keep guys from breaking parts vs a traditional short to ground lockup switch. Not that Ben's idea won't work it's just not automatic and might be hard on parts with a 650hp+ truck on stock shafts.

If it is triggered by speed how will it work for 4lo sled pulling ?

Exactly...mine is ridiculously crude, no PWM, and it can burn out the f-trim solenoid. Lockup is HARSH with no PWM!!

Guys; now that brayden has released his, dont even mess around with my little switch deal. Do it the right way and get his controller box. :cool:
