had a couple issues. 1 was 1 of the 3 bolts that hold the turbo down - i could not get in place. It's not like an LBZ or LLY - i justs truggled.... wasted way too much time with that. Before that we were missing the oil return pipe but Mcrat came through with one and tommy delivered it. All in all it's not too abd of a job. It's definatly more of a pain in the ass then any other turbo but i still ahd fun doing it.

It was nice, i was able to work with my apprentice on other jobs and still get this done.

The sound is just incredible. When the truck was pulling away the whistle almost hurt. Oh so pretty !

Yeah those pedestal bolts are a bitch. the front one on the drivers side always sucks the most, even more on a stocker. good to hear you got everything done smoothly.
Edit: lets see some pics!

ya, i have good luck with those. But this one it was just horrible. I ended up coming from the back to get it in place then the normal way to thread it.

i didn't take many pictures ... i'll post them anyway.

Trucks back together thanks to stew staying late and geting it done wich is much apreciated:hug: had a few set backs with some parts. but between pat and kat coming through once again  and johhny gasuout getting me a missing bolt we got it pulled together and shes up and running again :) the whistle is pretty loud at very low rpm but then goes away pretty quick comprable to how my 4094 sounded mabey slightly louder. pretty much took it easy on the way home to get it broken in and make shure every thing was working correctley i got on it a couple times and only saw a max of about 32-33 psi pulled pretty strong the tuneing will take a little bit to get dialed in. and I think nick wrote a pretty conservative tune to start off with for a base line. so we willl se in the coming days what we can get out of her and just keep working at it to get it perrrfect:) Hopefully will be at the track this week as well so should beable to get some numbers as well. all in all seems pretty good. and should have more info in the coming days. Thanks once again to pat kat johhny and Of course greg.:D

thanks pat and kat for that down tube. I spent about 30 minutes yelling at the parts guys telling them they must have that return tube now !!! 3-5 days. You guys saved us.

Thanks johnny for that oil feed bolt. It was right at the end when i had that horrible message to tommy. Dude, we don't have a feed bolt. Then miraculously johnny let us use his. Thanks man. those 2 parts would have left the truck stranded in my stall. Ps - i didn't lose it ;) we just didn't have one - other turbo was a different design.

Man does that thing sound sweet. DAMN !

I think it will be better drivability around town .

I did love the raw nuts of the 4094 , we will see in the morning . It will be missed .

Would like to see it on a dyno , and find the HP boost psi sweet spot . It is said to be 42 psi .

Testing will show what that # is . Been really wanting to know what it will take .

I am putting a cheetah on kodiak also , and want to know what # psi is the correct psi for a high HP tune and everything flowing right with out restriction .

We will see in time here . If not on Tommy's on mine then .
