I just flashed some tunes from All In, good price on the SOTF, seems to have good power for a stock trans. (2015 LML). I would go there or Ridge Runner, buddy didn't like Tony's price for the SOTF setup.

Whoever does it needs to do it this week. Still praying MotorOps comes through. Just dropped the truck off with autocal inside.

MotorOps is a joke. I currently have a communication code that is being set on their tunes and they didn't even try to fix it. Just said they can't make it go away. Mind you, I have Danville tunes that don't set the code, so it's for sure a tune issue.

I like my tunes from Danville, but they are garbage at highway speeds. They are so aggressive with the vane position it makes an incredible amount of boost at low throttle position and really feels like it's fighting itself. I tried to get an updated tune with lower boost and they gave me a tune that was better but no where near where it needed to be. That was also the 'only' thing they could do.

If you just plan to hot rod around call Mark, they run clean and smooth. If you need a highway runner like me, find someone else. I could get about 20mpg with motorops, but got 14mpg on Mark's tunes running slower speeds because I couldn't stand listening to the turbo scream on cruise control.

I'll stop ranting, but I'm interested in how this thing turns out. It's pretty close to what I want to do soon.

S Phinney, are you affiliated with a company I don’t know about? Might hit up Kory. What is everyone’s opinion on his LML tuning with lots of mods like mine?

I have Venom Tune and Performance. I’m in Florida. I don’t do SOTF tuning. You are only getting one tune and the switch becomes a limiter. Some guys like the switch. I personally don’t think there’s a need for it on this Duramax platform.

Agreed!!! The sotf tuning for lmls ain't like the old trucks... One tune and done. Switch it when you need to tow with your autocal or v2. It takes 3 minutes.
I would Call or PM Shane and get his tunes well before korys, or Motor ops.

Korys runs really good in my opinion when just flat on the floor but I'm not happy with Highway cruising like somebody mentioned earlier here.

The vane position is to high most the time and I've tried to get a tune with it lowered but actually seemed worse. And it doesn't go to zero very quick, sometimes it'll be at 50 or 60 percent when I'm getting on it pretty good and I'll have 40 lbs of boost, it's annoying and seems hard on stuff.

I'd like to try somebody else, I want the pedal to control the fuel delivery more and not be so much boost related and also low vane position when cruising.

I also have a few rail pressure inconsistencies but I think that must be kinda hard to get perfect on a cp3 swap? Dunno

Blake with Unleashed has awesome lml tuning. Customer service is top notch. It's a hobby for him. Not just a job.

I have not ran or dynoed my truck yet. I just know from my previous dmaxes that this one feels way better. The turbos spool well and it just pulls hard.

Ok so if I want Blake’s tunes can he write them for the switch I have installed that is pinned for MototOps/DT? Also, would I need another autocal or can he send them to my builder and he can put them in if he had a V2?

He can email them and use a v2 or he does sell autocals. For soft tuning it's easy to swap pins if its different. You will not be disappointed.

Anybody got a number for him. When I look up his company the unleashed diesel in Ohio shows up not his company. I sent him a PM here though.

You can PM me for it. There’s a reason some people get promoted online by others and and some people have to bring themselves up. Always becarful who you let tune your truck they can ruin everything from the motor to the trans.

Give up on the switch, it's not like previous years. It just increases fuel rate. You are MUCH better off running a big tune and get a tow tune to flash if needed. Every truck I have driven with SOTF in an LML was terrible, but other stand alone files from the same tuner ran much better.
