Where or from whom did you hear that?

I'm guessing somebody with a CUMMINgS diesel in owned by FORD. It would be nice, but unless GM wants to release the strangle hold on the stock ECM it aint happening. I can't say I blame EFILIVE for this either as I don't want to be involved in case a SH!T storm breaks out over the companies who are tuning who most likely stole the tunes from the TIS system.

If someone wants to tune a 2011+ LML, all they have to do is switch to LMM electronics (ECM, wiring harness, injectors). It will be plug and play, and work just fine with the body of the truck.

Doing that gives you the best of both worlds really. You get the kickass 2011+ chassis, and you can custom tune it with EFILive. Wouldnt be all that expensive either.

I remember this being mentioned at EFILIVE's site, but I don't remember reading if the injectors would swap out or not?

Very nice. I just can't believe its "THAT" hard to crack an ECM. Hell hackers have taken down government computer networks ontop of hacking software to make it free.

I thought hacking it wasn't the problem:confused: I thought GM's Copyright was??

Obviousily it has already been hacked by H&S and Bullydog

The file is unreadable out of the computer. Bosch implemented this on the EDC 17 ECM. You can physically read it from the board, but not through the OBD II port.

So, with no beginning file to start from, theres not a file to tune. :(

It's been said H&S(which is Bullydog) acquired the tune from the TIS, which is GM's software site that allows updates to the engine computer through the Tech II.

Industrail injection is testing pumps and not using the worthless hs tuning so what are they using?
