I was at a discount tool salvage yard the other day and i just so happen to find that tool brand new with the piece for both the 2500/3500 and the 4500/5500 trucks...$6!! I snagged it right up. Also got a proto 48" long 3/4 drive breaker bar for $25.
Red locktite will do wonders......It made it 215k, it'll make it another after you get it back together..
Did the bolts loosen up that much or did you loosen them? Lucky one of those bad boys didn't fall into the timing gears.
Haha no I'm just messy when I change my oil. Can't ever find a funnel when I need one.
Almost done. Just got to put the belt back on and still waiting on a new sensor. Gonna see of the old one still works though.
Which codes came up? You could try swaping the cam and crank sensors to see if the code follows. Or just change the sensor and be done with it.
I've got a sensor that will he here tomorrow. Pulled one off a buddies truck though for now. Runnin like a champ.
