I could be wrong, but I think the fuel demand rate is actually based on RPM not pulse-width (pulse width goes up with boost).

Our CP3 is based on return. The regulator allows fuel into the high pressure side, but if there is no demand, it still is pumped, it just goes into the tank instead. Injectors return fuel every time they release, regardless of the duration of the shot.

I've never measured return yet, but that's how I thought it operated.

No, it won't hurt your mileage any more than turning your radio up will. About 10amps peak, IIRC.

Yes, it sounds like the electric pump in a gasser when you turn the ignition hot. Maybe a bit louder.

Just installed the AIRDOG 150 W/ tank pick-up last week. The only time you can hear the pump is before you start the truck, It keeps up with all the fuel my ppe hot+2 et asks for. I would definetly recomend this kit.

My air dog should be in by weeks end, any install tips to pass on?

Drop the tank its alot easier then pulling your bed like others have done, took me all of 15 minutes to drop my tank and about 20min to put it back in with a extra set of hands. Are you going to use the tank pick-up? If so make sure you have a shop vac going when you drill your tank, to keep any shavings from going in, You will have to cut the fuel pickup to length. Be sure to support the bottom of the tank with some 2 by 4's or something comparible, placed were the straps would normally support it this will assure you get the right height to cut the pick-up down to. You also need to cut cross hatches in the bottom of the pick-up. Check and double check that you have all the fittings, some people have been missing a fitting or two and needless to say they did not relize untill they had there trucks apart. I have a bunch of pics if you need them. Also I fabricated a different mount for mine so the filters would sit a couple inches above the frame rails and also run parallel to the frame.

Never had to measure fuel return from a cp3

Injectors should not return more than 3-5ml (dependent on measured fuel API) of fuel per injector in a 15 second duration at cranking/idle.

Generally good injectors will have around .5-2ml of fuel return at idle in a 15 second duration.

It came with the kit so I used it, But in all honesty I cant see it doing a whole lot since it ties back into the stock fuel line. Kinda like a CAI, The aftermarket tubes are way bigger then OEM but they get reduced back down, Seems kinda of conterproductive IMO... I think I know who you are talking about running the AIRDOG 150 WITH OUT THE PICK-UP, If it is the same guy he is running over 500RWHP with no fuel starvation issues.
