Diesel fuel contains varying degrees of entrained air in the form of foam on the surface or suspended in the bulk fluid as tiny bubbles. Additionally, fuel is driven into the fuel pump by atmospheric pressure, which is usually only enough pressure flow to fill the pump at idle speeds. Consequently, at higher operating RPM

Just put the PPE on a friends truck, pretty much the same as the edelbrock 1792, just built to diesel specs.

Here in the cold weather, I couldnt keep a 1792 from leaking.

I went with a stand alone FASS 95gph pump (no filters) 6 year warranty. Not as quite as Kennedy, but not as loud as the 1792 (if you are worried about how loud the pump is) plus I like the 6yr warranty. FASS stand alone is not flow through at all. Truck falls on it face with the pump off, so bypass of some sort in case of pump failure is probably a good idea.

I have had my PPE pump for almost 1 year. it comes on with the ignition the noise doesn't bother me at all. Mine has not leaked. Personally if my pump failed I would buy another one.

My ears are gettin' sensitive as I get older...The FASS pump is quiet, especially in comparison to the Holley Black that I put on the dually...

Are you on crack Chris? FASS and quiet are not to be used in the same sentence-ever!

If you think otherwise, go listen to a Kennedy or TTS.:)
