Both of my boys. Ruger (border collie), Blaze (red heeler). Ruger is a good coyote dog. Both good cow dogs and both good company:thumb:

This is my 8 month old short hair Dixie, she's a hunting machine. She was setting quail, pheasants & chukar at 4 months. I shot over 100 quail over her last year along with probably 15 rosters and 20-30 chuckars.

No barking only tucked tail and slight occasional growling after pulling out from under the deck, I guess she's a little submissive

I know there have to be guys with some cool dogs on here. Let's see them!
Here is Max, he is a one year old pudelpointer. Look it up, hes not like a labradoodle  Still a long way to go but he should be a good dog, hunts upland and waterfowl as well as tracks wounded game. Hes only 6 months old in these pictures.

You didn't get him from Bob Farris in Boise did you?

I'm waiting on a pup from him right now. Pudelpointers will never win any bueaty contests, but I like the way they hunt. We hunt a lot of Chuker and Huns in Idaho, and my springers while I love them really are not cut out for that kind of hunting. Hunting pheasants in South Dakota, different story, much better than a pointing dog when the birds are so thick.

Here are a couple of my dogs, Sunny the one on the left I had to put down in December. She was a great huning dog. Jake is good too, and can go all day. Has the toughest feet I've ever seen on a dog. Picture on the right was his first pheasant hunt.

No but I have heard great things about bob and his dogs. I got my dog in Bridgeport CA from dreamwork gun dogs. Mark Westerlund owns and breeds the dogs. They have some pretty badass bloodlines.

LOL we named our newest mutt Tater. :D he's about 25#, brindle, head like a jack Russell or something with a pointy-ish nose, big pointy ears, kinda long body, bobbed tail, short stalky legs. A real Heinz 57! lol

Our 4 yo Vizsla Finnegan(Finn). He's pretty big for a Vizsla, about 75lbs of solid dog. I havnt had him out hunting yet, but I know he doesnt mind gun shots. He ran down a rabbit and killed it. The wife was thrilled about that when he brought it up onto the deck.

He's great with our 7month old son too. We've had other small kids over and he's great with them too. Somehow he understands they're small and he needs to be careful. Pretty amazing.
