$5900 for that piece of shit?!!:rofl:

Take a hike bozo, Steve called and said you left your underware at his house :gay:

Anyone know how to get the rear doors on the extended cab open? They seem to be rusted shut. I took the handle assy apart and pulled on the rod it self but its rusted to much that is just plain will not budge. The top opens just fine for the record.

I guess thats what you get when you buy a truck that was under water

Sounds like your extended cab is now a regular cab with LOTS of room behind the seat:D

A whole lot of PB Blaster sprayed on the latch hardware? Maybe just weld the doors shut?

That all I got...

I would love to do that Tom but then it would make it really hard to relocate the ecm and tcm to the extended cab portion of the truck. :banging:

For 343,000 miles everything looks pretty good. Block is going to the machine shop to be cleaned and inspected. Anyone know where to get pistons and rods? I would like to find pistons that are cut, de-lipped, and that have valve reliefs in them. Would also like to upgrade my valve springs and get a cam.

Thanks Josh, I appreciate that Harlem! I like it. The wheels are off a Dudge 2500 2005 Fummins, they are 315/70R17. They clear just fine, no trimming but if you take a corner like into a driveway they can rub but only for a moment. I am ditching the 315's and going down to a 33" or the like.

I like those wheels. I almost bought a set of them a while ago, but I decided two sets of wheels/tires for my truck is enough. Are they 7" wide? If I'm not mistaken, they are a forged wheel.

Forged wheel and IIRC they are made by Alcoa. I believe they are 7" wide but the backspacing seems to be differant than the PYO

I bought them for $300 and the tires were used for $50. Not that bad of a deal.

you guys are scaring me with those 189 - 200k guesses. shoul i be planning for something?

The truck had 343,xxx miles when I took it apart. It ran and drove just fine except for a raw diesel smell from the exhaust. Trust me, they were hard miles. Truck belonged to some sort of nationwide pool company and spent its' life in norther New York. Pictures of the odometer are on the first page.

Josh,

I think you are in way over your head. Do you even remember which end of the frame the motor goes in?
