People are all game to delete one until they see the price tag. Also only a couple places offering tuning. Trying to get details on what needs to go is hard. I talked with a buddy that deleted one. Said it was a pain. Even the urea tank can't be removed yet without a harness.

Did not know that, very interesting.

What I don’t get is that ALOT of people are willing to spend 4k on just rims that are ugly and pointless 24x12 or something stupid like that, but bitch and complain about spending that much for deletes.

Who’s got the lowdown on this?
Not sure if Kory still lurks around but this looks an awful lot like a simple “fix” for certain undesirable parts???
You'd still need a delete tune. Those just let you remove the modules without breaking the CAN bus loop and losing communication with downstream modules. If you put these on a stock truck, it'd throw codes like crazy.

That makes me sad lol
I’m trying to justify spending 45k+ and then adding another 5k on top of that
... I guess I could just leave it stock:(

Yup, total separate entity based in Canada.

After what i learned what the EPA is doing and going after with the shops they stopped at here in AZ, i hope Motor Ops, DT and CT have their i's dotted and t's crossed. There is alot of grey area the EPA is turning to use against us...

So what's the goal here? Creep up on power until a part fails, replace and repeat?

Originally he said to give information for the tuners out there
That was after meeting with Kory at I believe Sema
And I know Nick has met with him before also
So sounds like a little bit of a publicity stunt but either way the old man is brilliant and has definitely done well for himself
Anyways... yes he said when the turbo chokes out replace it
Water cooler doesn’t keep up replace
Oil pump etc...
Until the crank hits the ground or the heads hit the ceiling he’s not stopping

Saw that video yesterday. Gale definitely invests his money in research that's for sure. Looking forward to seeing the final product for his new line of Diff Covers.

I'm not sure Gale will even push the thing.. guys are hitting 600+ho at the wheels currently. Gale will hit 570hp at the flywheel and call it a day lol.

I would disagree...
Simple google search and you can find the military test for that new jltv that’s replacing the humvee. Gale banks won the contract with the L5p based duramax
Not sure what he changes but anyways...
I found the test for the ford powerstroke 6.7 and it started to fail about mid way through

https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a560574.pdf

It’s a lot to read but it’s a pretty brutal test lol

Pretty sure he said those engines are LML based as he had them cast well before the L5P came out(he likes to post pics on the clean diesel facebook page). He commented several times that they are strokers at 7.1 or 7.4 litres using his forged crank, I believe monotherm steel pistons, and they use a larger diameter rod bearing than the LML and older, but not as large as the L5P. He's posted about them on his page a few times, I believe he even posted some internal comparison pics after the L5P came out showing the differences between his, LML, and an L5P.
