We are getting nailed by a Cold Front. It was 50* yesterday and today it is 7 with 25-40 MPH winds. Haven't heard what the wind chill is. Saying we will be below 0 again tonight. Love the weather changes.

I dropped my hammer into the cattle tank breaking ice this AM---Its still there now. I'll be damned if I'm gonna reach into there after it until the cows drink the water down! It would take me all day/night to warm back up......I still got my axe.
Yep. They had to keep kids in school in NW IA. They roads were too bad to send the busses out. Didn't quite get as cold as they said. The wind was terrible last night 50 MPH gusts.
I'd leave the hammer in there, too.
I think the coldest it has been here was around 0*F sometime in January. Truck starts like a champ! Ben you need to ditch those AC Delco batteries are garbage. I ditched mine a year and a half ago, best thing I could have done!

It's like 15 here now. I just got in from checking/working calves. One that was born a couple of hours ago had CRISPY ears when I went to tag it.
