woke up this morning to go to work and it is 13 above 0. coldest it has been here in 3 years. normally it doesnt get below 30

huh? I'da thought it got colder than that up there. That's about the norm for us here in KY. It does get colder than 30s at night though pretty regularly during the winter. Like right now, the lows have been in the teens with a day or two in the single digits. Been a few years since we've had anything below zero, even factoring in the wind chill.

Yeah its cold here too up at school...it was about 2* yesterday, and -3 when I took these pictures. The truck hadnt been run in 2 days and Ive never been able to plug it in at school here...it didnt sound happy but started right up. I have all of my coolant timing adders taken out because I hate the rattle, so it smokes quite a bit.

One time last year I started the truck up in the parking lot (it was about -10 then), which is right next to this big quad thing, and the art building is on the other side...I had to go to art and when I got there some of the kids were saying "was there a fire or something??? There was tons of smoke in the air...anyone know what happend?" I said "yeah that was my truck..."

Some pics when it was -3. Those guage pictures are after about 30 minutes of driving, then I stopped to go to the store to get food and just left it high idling...doesnt stay warm!!! My trans was running really cold too, mind you its a suncoast IV that usually runs 190-200* in the summer due to the higher pressure...
