it's like a nervous....twitch....that won't......go away!

anyone else get like this, or is it a "Texas" thing?
anyone up for some shooting? i'd shoot every day if i could, but the closest place i can go is 150 miles away (grandparents ranch) and they don't like a lot of people there.

I thought we had a range a couple miles west of town or maybe out by 12 mile? I know we have an indoor range off of Washington? Don't we have a range just south town by the airport? I know you can go out the twin butts at the spill way and fire all you want. Set up some targets and get after it.

oh, i should clearify myself...the closest HUNTING is 150 miles away.
the EQ is a good place for some clay shooting. legally, you can only shoot shotguns out there.
as for gun ranges, the only one i've been to is in Brady (free). i don't know if there are any free ranges around here

there is one towards bronte called devils mountain!

Devel's Mountain isn't a free range either. i've heard it's an ok range, but the guy charges whoever pulls the trigger...even if it's only once (i.e. wife shooting the gun once). i used to work at the Goodyear Proving Grounds down the road from there...they have a range :D.

i've got a few military friends that have access to Angelo Gun Club, but i'd have to bring them every time i wanted to shoot to get in...which isn't a bad thing, just wish there was a free public range.

when's dove season start...september right? a month away :jiggy:

I haven't shot my guns in months. My ranch is an hour from here and there's plenty of stuff to shoot out there if any of yall wanna go out there and shoot. There's not really any great gun ranges around San Angelo so I usually end up just driving out there
