was this the truck I seen a danville with an inch of dust on it?
Nope. I did almost all the work myself. That is why it took so long.:)
You should get a sticker that says, "Got Wheelbase?" That thing is long.
Leverage Baby!:D

I think we all can call Johnboy "Skipper":D
My wife calls it "The Boat" either because its so long or because just like boat it has become a big hole I throw money in. She also calls hers "The Tug" because when the boat brakes it will drag back home.
that thing needs a 4 inch lift and 16x12 inch rims :D glad to hear its alive again John

No lift for me. Low and mean!

was the exitus de intercooler pipe a dramatic one? if so, I bet that through a jab in the ol gut for a sec. 'til you figured it out.

It did not really suprise me. What suprised me was how easily it made 40psi of boost. I looked at the gage and though I better get out of it than "POOOOF".

Good to hear this John. Hope to follow each other around this weekend:).
I am working on it! I got the exhaust welded up. Dad is going to Tig Weld some beads on my boost tubes. I need to get busy with the Mig tomorrow on my loops and sheilds.

:cussing:

What boot blew? right off the turbo?

The red looks good JB,if it was in a regular cab it would look even better:D

:rofl:I need a sticker like that

I blew the boot that connected the 90* elbow of the turbo to the stock boost tube. I took and cut the swaged end off the stock boost tube. Where the Blue stock elbow connects. The stock boost tube is 3" but swaged down to 2.5". I used a 3" 90* aluminmuim elbow I bought to replace that silicone elbow. I had to turn up a custom V band flange to make it work. It came out real nice other than the blown boot. Dad should have the tubes beaded tomorrow. So hopefully the beatings will resume soon!:D

congrats on getting it going i know the feeling of waiting a year for something to move

Thanks!

It did not move at all today and its already getting to me!:)

Good to see you got it back together Johnboy. You going to be pulling at Bedford (if it is scheduled this year) or Bloomsburg?

Thanks!:)

My turbo is to big to pull at Bedford (July 20th) .:( Which sucks because I really liked pulling there.

Bloomsburg (Sept 27th)is a FPP Prostreet hook. So I am planning on being there.

I hope to make it to Bloomsburg, I would like to see your truck pull since you weren't able to make it to Harrisburg. Did you ever look into pulling at The Buck, Lancaster might be a long haul for you though. They have one coming up June 21st.

Looks great John, wow, did those kidney stones really set you back this far or would've you most likely not been ready anyways for the Harrisburg indoor pull? ;) I can't wait to see it in person!

It actually ran for the first time over a month ago. It died suddenly right after putting on the trans blanket. I thought it was electrical. It actually turned out to be a Fubared injector body and tip.

Congrats John, how big of a charger did you go with? What power do you think see will make?

Thanks Mark! I have some different turbos to try.
