the whole thing in a nutshell, as you always say Pat, rules are rules and the same rules should apply to "team salad" as they do with the rest of us. a title shouldnt change that. a little knowlege of "tech" still shouldnt change that either. if i posted pages and pages of "tech info" here, would that give me the right to totally blow up at somebody and call them all kinds of names and insults? i dont think so!

You are confusing equality with value. They are different.

Everyone here is equal. It's your actions that change your value. If you had helped hundreds of strangers on this board, you'd be treated the same as they are.

Yes, tech changes things. Why? It's a tech board. Dodge guys have less value, as do Ford guys, but they are equal here, they can read and post. The more tech you post, the more leniency is afforded.

You seem to think that guys like me are not allowed to be aholes now and then. Guess what? Welcome to the human race, even Mother Theresa had bad days. We don't have to be saints before we are allowed to make decisions about board operations, or there would be no boards at all.

What I cant understand is, if you have such a big problem with the "Higher status" people here (I use that term because its well deserved). Why dont you just stay over at the other place? These guys have plenty of usfull tech input thats helped many of people including myself. you know whats funny mike, is that i sat next to you at merchants a few years ago, and you were bad mouthing steve cole like you do now every chance you get. people have called me that know you too. big deal! on the diesel place my post was this- i asked guy if the 3 engines that failed were with his balancers, and he said no. i then asked how did he get to the point that injectors broke the cranks, and if he sent them out for failure analisys to someone other than pat? because being friends they are, could bring out a biased oppinion. thats all. i didnt badmouth you at all. the whole point is if guy claims things; they should be concrete documentation and not speculation and that he doesnt need you and pat to defend him every time a question is presented of his products, theories, ect. guy can do just fine without you 2. i posted things that i had personal experience with guy, and other people had the same type of experience with him also. bashing him would be like me mentioning him in every post i could and thats not the case.

You really should stop listening to Cole. I run a metrology lab, largest in the West last I checked. We have 7 CMM machines and supporting equipment. Not a fuel injection shop.

I have non-disclosure agreements with DOD, JPL, NASA, CIA, Boeing, Lockheed, Northrup, Dodge Racing, Chevrolet Racing, Honda Racing, Toyota Racing, etc. In the case of some of these, I get to go to prison if I falsify results. I've been measuring shit for 30 years, and in business over 15. I'm pretty good at it.

Now for my "hobby",

I've tested ~15 unique turbochargers, over two dozen tuners, several different converters, lift pumps, intakes, etc. The reason folk listen to my recommendations, is because they trust my testing. MFR's often call me to get my input on things.

Did your "buddy" mention when I tested his converter vs. the Suncoast converter, I pronounced his converter as the winner? Naw, he probably forgot about that, since I make up test results according to him. Or he will just make up some story I suppose. Fiction is always simpler than testing.
