Screw that josh is a stand up guy, and that is a pretty low blow there imo. Did you seriously just bump up chris at Josh's expense? Just because he wont join the circle jerk and drink the Kool aid you all get your panties in a wad.

On top of it all you are supposed to be a vendor

Honestly the way I read it is that Mike ( MMLMM) just said that Chris is standup guy? There is nothing about a circle jerk:confused: Is this forum a circle jerk to you?

What about kool-aid? and whos panties are in the wad? Mike because he said Chris is stand up?:confused:

Maybe this is the problom and I do not see your side of the story?

Question: What do you consider a stand up guy?

I'm laying on the couch right now. Does that make me a stand up guy or a lay down guy?

Oh, I forgot to say I was standing up earlier...

Your right, sorry no more bad words.

As for taking a car into the 7's, that is cool but around here every high school shop class does that.

OT, but really? The boys at KCIR told me took take my truck up there to the 1/8th mile track in nebraska, cause my truck would scare the sh*t out of them cause no one has anything fast. Ok sorry for the ot. :D

I've never met Josh, but from his posts, and a lot to me even, he always came off the wrong way to me. But like Wes said, offline, in persone, maybe he is a different guy...Until then all I have to go on is how he is on the forum.

Nope, hes the same ol' smartass :D Just gotta give it right back too him, thats what he likes. :D

If you think I'm out of line, PMs work great...I often act upon posts reported by other members...Believe it or not, I don't go on a witch hunt for certain people...

As the membership grows, personalities will collide, that's just the way it is...

Unfortunately, because of my job, I'm online very late at night...I miss several posts...Again, I check PMs...

you are one of the more understanding mods, i dont have any beef with you:D

I just gotta ask, are there really high schools that build cars that run the 1/4 in 7 seconds? That's just insane! Where were these high schools when I was still in school?

x2, i wouldve stayed in school instead of getting my ged and on to college for 2 1/2 years:happy2:

When I was in school the teacher was less informative than "The two guys garage". maybe his teacher was related to Don Garlits or something.

This whole thread is funny

You guys apologize and then you defend your apologies with the same stupid attitude that caused you to have to apologize in the first place. You guys won't change because you can't. Seems you were taught that it is ok to screw up and all you have to do is say I'm sowwy. :mommy: Apology not accepted, sorry. Actions speak louder than words.

at least some guys can be capable of appologizing, can you do the same? can pat do the same? both of you are just as guilty as acting like 4th graders as us; the only difference is that you guys are moderators and should lead by example:rolleyes: before i joined here, i read stuff here for like 3 months and did see alot of stuff that you guys would not get away with somewhere else, so i figured i can act the same way since no one gets banned here. anyways i am appologizing on my part again for what has gone on here, and the crap i stirred up here. if you guys accept the appologies or not, it will show who can be the bigger person in the end. i just maybe have to make a special trip to socal and stop by pat's and mike's shops to kick their old buts on the way to glamis and make them forgive me:rofl:

There was no need to defend ourselves until one of the green badges came in and showed his dominant presence. We get it, this is your cave and we won't try and eat your fruits. Let it go already...:baby:

I'm sorry.

There, does that alter reality?

Like MikeL said, the best apology is change.

Seems there is a misconception by a small group that the members here are saints, or they are demons, one or the other. Man, wouldn't life be so much simplier if everyone had to wear a black or white hat?

I'm a hotrodder. I started this board to share info with other hotrodders. It's not a "for profit" board, it's an outlaw board by today's standards, but it is typical of how boards were 10 years ago. Just like everyone, I have good friends, and I stand by them. I certainly will never apologize for that.

I guess I'm supposed to apologize because I don't treat those who try to turn the board into WWF Talk the same as those who have posted hundreds or thousands of posts to help others.

If you ran a board, would you treat everyone equally? Can you name any board that does? I've never seen one, but perhaps there is.

From what I gather, you believe a board where everyone attacks everyone, and those who don't help others are treated the same or better than those who do help others would make a great site. I suggest you start such a board, and stay away from sites that don't fit you needs.

Sidebar - To the other readers, we have a good group of members here. Less than 1% are constantly trashing others for no reason. Most boards cut that percent down by just locking out offenders, and stopping them from even reading the board. We don't do that. You don't have to be a member to read this board, so the only thing we restrict is posting, and only if your posting HERE is detrimental to the tech content. It's pretty hard to lose your posting ability, you really have to work hard at it.

If you ran a board, would you treat everyone equally? yes, every guy here puts their pants on the same way every morning; one leg at a time. Can you name any board that does? I've never seen one, but perhaps there is.

the whole thing in a nutshell, as you always say Pat, rules are rules and the same rules should apply to "team salad" as they do with the rest of us. a title shouldnt change that. a little knowlege of "tech" still shouldnt change that either. if i posted pages and pages of "tech info" here, would that give me the right to totally blow up at somebody and call them all kinds of names and insults? i dont think so!

Hurt @ss little btch ring any bells?

childish name calling should never be resorted too no matter what
Im not pointing fingers i am just pointing out that not just a few people here have acted childish at times. if there is going to be a set timeout for name calling i think it should apply to everyone no matter the color of your name or how many mod friends you have.
