I am in the middle of a build right now but won't be getting a second cp3 til next year. I am curious to know how much power has been made by a stock pump?? I will be running my stock LLY pump with a LBZ regulator and all the mods listed in my sig. Hoping to make 625-650 with fuel being my limiting factor. Not many people do such an extensive build with a single unmodified pump so I'm interested to see what it puts down!

I was told a healthy stock cp3 is plenty for what stock rods can handle. Would like to know if thats true also.

yup, it can bend rods if your not careful with the tuning as well. i bent all 8 of mine on a just a decent cp3 (would only hold 22k actual with a 26k demanded on a 2800uS tune)

578 on stock LB7 CP3 w/modded LB7 reg and suction pump. MORE than enough fuel to bend rods....

I let you know what mine make towards the end of the month. Lly cp3 with lbz reg. 40% and s475. 2400pw 27* timing. Demands 26k hold 20k. Runs 11.69@115 with a 1.80 60'. E.t. cal says between 650-675hp

Mine did 525 HP with a 290,xxx mile LB7 CP3. 60% injectors and a S371. The #1 cylinder had sucked a glow plug through it, so it probably was higher power before that...

ET calculator put it at about 600-625 HP before the glow plug went through a valve. I dynoed it afterwards, *sigh*.

I know it sounds crazy, but the bigger injectors will allow you to better utilize what the pump puts out. So with your 60 overs you should be able to see just what it can do.

I've got 60 overs being fed by my 182k mile stock original cp3. I'm close to 11s but the pump can only hold a bit over 18k. I think it's the only thing keeping my motor alive. I want to swap in a stock LBZ reman pump but I think it will do me in.

Your elevation will prob allow you to break into the 11s
