Help with the truck that no one can tune

To clear up a few things;
1. The first I heard of you was when you called last Monday, I returned that call within 5 minutes.
2. Jeremy was the builder and called with the order and paid using a CC in his name.
3. This is the last email I received from him so I didn't know there was an issue until your call and we had no record of who you were. So far so good with the latest tune smoke gets better I tried to lug it into reduced power but she didn't bitch! I'll let u know when I drive it more

I'll refund the card I have on file, and be done with it. Jeremy sent me photos of the build, you have a very nice set-up and hopefully someone will get it running to it's potential.

Truck is not 100% running fine as it has a BARO code that sets it in reduced power mode. Via datalog the truck only changed .1 in Voltage and from 14.5 to 14.4 PSI. This should not be a near enough change to set a baro code, however, the baro is within the ECM. So my next request is to Swap in another LMM ecm, flash in the same tune and see if it codes. Also, via datalogs supplied by trey, the MAF looked a little whacky, they swapped in another sensor and said it fueled a little better down low and the datalog came up proper as well. I have not sent anything refined, but as of now our only code is a BARO code. I'm about to leave for Mexico on Wednesday so if they supply me something by then i will be glad to help. Trey has been great to work with.

We don't take amex and can't even process. The CC processed was a Visa and not in your name.

Kory, I think you are talking about another truck. Trey had a non-twin stock engine with a 4094 that he did that had similar issues. The OP's truck is a full built engine/twins/etc.

The OP truck is now within Trey Fox's posession... The OP needs to get his hands on another ECM to do some further testing. Trey has now acquired a tech II... So we can all get a little more precise data.

Rob I still have that truck you are referring to plus this op's truck . I am currently trying to help the op and kory try and find a fix for the built motor vehicle . I still need a fix for the stock truck but at this time no one has been able to cure the problem.

Not yet, trey is going to data log the turbo vane voltages actual vs desired, MAF voltages, boost voltages ect for me tomorrow now that the candi came in for his tech II and we both have a little time! If we can't figure it put from there, I imagine the truck will make the trip to Calvin's and let brad diagnose the issue. That would be the end of the story as he has ridiculous knowledge above what I could try to translate. Lol

Still waiting on that refund Rob....

I refunded the card that was used for the payment of the tuning. The refund went through 8-23-12 11:51 am

I have proof with credit card refund and batch info from the CC company.

Rob, I'll pay you $5000 to come tune the truck in person to throw no codes and run the way it's supposed to, since I'm such a pain in the ass. You can have your run at it in GA, SC, or NC just let me know where to get it, hell I'll even fly you in to augusta so I don't have to move the truck.

Let me know, since it's obviously such an easy fix it should be a pretty quick 5k for you...

The guys you claimed as references tried your box and got no where Dan, in fact they said it was garbage, but they are dealers for your product and won't post it publicly.

I doubt the time away from the shop would make $5K worth it to him to travel out there and back. But knowing Rob, if I had an issue I bet he would stay late to fix what was wrong assuming I was patient and not an ass. It sucks you got into something that no one has an answer to right now, but no one owes you an answer for this. You are getting the run around from people because they just don’t know, you are in a grey area of these trucks, and demanding results is going to get everyone walking away.

if your willing to pay 5k to have somebody tune a truck, why not pull the cheetah off and scrap the damn thing and try a 366/480 or EPRs 371/483 combo ?

I'm still not convinced it is primarily a tuning issue... Could it be something efilive doesn't have to tune around? Possibly... Other factors could come in to play. I sent a tune, rob sent a tune, tony did... Pretty sure if it was just a tuning issue one of us would have nailed it. I'd still like to know the Actual vs desired voltages of the requested sensors to see the mis-match, considering there is one causing the fault.
