FWIW I still run Kodiak manifolds and up-pipes. I have made over 1100hp and see 84psi of boost with 130psi of drive. Will headers or manifolds help, I'm not sure but these have been working fine.

Have you had any problems with keeping uppipe gaskets together? No blow outs or burn outs?

I going to try a set and see if there is any difference with my setup. I just want to get everything else done then hopefully I can afford a set from Rick for the dragster. I run a set of ATS now and like them. They seem to work good for me.

I got you covered when you're ready. ;)

Also, if enough people are interested we will design another set of the spaghetti headers and up pipes. We have been playing around with a updated design but didn't know if they would be popular or not.

I would have bought a set just for the sound! Tim Judd's truck sounds down right nasty with them.

Probable and actual are 2 different things.
Honda manifolds have runners.
Duramax manifolds are logged and do not have runners.
Run tests and then you will know the truth.

Yeah definitely meant hondarider, just feels weird calling him Brian since I don't actually know him. And why the heck would you think I was comparing with Honda headers when I just railed against someone else for posting Peugeot race engines for being irrelevant?

And bcdeustch HOLY DRIVE PRESSURE! What valve spring are you running to keep it in the manifolds? Are you not concerned being that far off of 1:1 with compounds? Why not drop the VGT since it's obviously not a tow vehicle and remedy that a bit?

Are those true equal length runners? Any threads with info and pics on them? A full equal length setup might have enough impact to be worth it.

I have a set out of the couple that he made a number of years ago. I love them. No leak issues or cracks, and the sound is purely sexual.:coolspot:

Though, if Rick could make them easier to install/remove, it would make them that much better. They cannot be put on or removed with the motor in the truck. And Evan is correct, with the intercooler tube in the truck, getting to the converter bolts is a job I wouldn't even hire out to a smurf to do
