I'm going to the track tonight for some shakedown runs...again. Hopefully I'll get a full pass in tonight. I went last week and ran a 12.72@86 due to an intercooler boot that exploded somewhere near the 1/8 mile on my very first run. My 1/8 was 4 mph faster than my previous best even with a shitty 1.89 60'. I really dont know what to expect, but it felt really strong before the boot let go. I'm just hoping to be somewhere in the 11s. The Proxes are back on but I took the Cognito braces off, so launching has me concerned a bit. Last week I tried to leave at 20 psi but that was no bueño with 50psi in my A/Ts. Hopefully my fiance can go with me and do the video so I can see how it leaves. Even with all the passes I have on this thing, I'm kinda nervous.

I'll try! I might wait for her to get home from work and go late.

gotta get some video!! one of you buddies have a go pro you can take for a front row view?

I do, and I was just at his house yesterday, but the thought never crossed my mind. I'll see if I can borrow it next time for sure!

Good luck Chris!!!

I tried to go last night, but rain and 30mph headwind made it a no go. Can't help but get a little nervous myself ;)

Looking forward to hearing results!

Got 3 passes in and didn't break anything so it went well in my eyes. Ran a 12.10, 11.91 & 11.94 all at 113.x mph. Couldn't get any better than a 1.83 60' though. This 1054 is way too tight for this charger. 10-12 psi is all I could get on the line without it pushing through, and then it was lazy for a few feet until the charger lit the whole way. I have some video I need to edit together and I'll post it up later. On the 12.10 pass I didnt drop it to the floor until somewhere around the 330'. The last two I manually shifted out of 4th but I think I was revving it too high. Oh well, that's why its called test n tune! Trans will be coming out soon for a refresh and converter swap before I attempt to add more fuel.

I would go looser but that is just me... A 2500 stall converter with good coupling should be sweet. After driving a truck with Mikes new style converters I'm sold on it

I assume that was your braking foot that was to the floor and not your acc pedal to the floor? If thats the case that converter does suck. I thought the 1054's were "loose" for the SC series converters? I know i can get about 2300 out of my 5 star.
