How much horsetorques this thing making?

Have it set to 10 psi right now, in the neighborhood of 450-500. Nothing to be bragging about but have a lot of timing pulled out of it. Going back in 2 weeks to get it tuned on e85 with bigger Injectors and will put it through its paces. 800hp will live a long time at this weight and trap around 140mph.

You and me both. Thank you. Being out of town/state last year for 9 months put a dent on time for me, but I saw a lot of great sights on the company dime. :D

What's that a break in tune? I'm running 10#'s on a stock block LMG making more than that...:D

It's on pump 91 with 2 degrees at WOT. I wanted to get a few miles on everything before we put the coals to it, to make sure everything else behind the engine was happy

I have the 220lb injectors and race E85 read to go :D

With 10 psi of boost I could definitely see him only running 2 degrees of timing advance. Depends on engine setup of course. But with the small engines in the turbo RZRs I've played with you can run some insanely low timing (and sometimes have to) with boost. And those wind up to 7000+.

I’m saying total in, that’s how I read his post. 2* at even 4K is going to break up pretty bad on 91 if it makes it that high.

Went out yesterday for the first time at the track since Bakersfield in 2015 in my LB7 after hurting the engine.


Made 4 passes. First off the trailer pass was 10.93 @ 135.

Best for the day was 10.33 @ 140. Shitty 60' but working on it. Best of 1.81 60. Went 113mph in the 1/8 so I know it's making some power. Track calculator says 815hp. Won 1st place fastest truck and 1500 bones. Couldn't be happier, not one drop or hiccup. Worth the wait as much as I hated it.

Sweet! Congrats Brian, I knew that mofo was going to be a bad b*tch.

What's funny, is that the shift pattern of the th400 is so much slower than an Allison it made me think I went considerably slower than I thought. Still used to being in overdrive by the 1/8 mile haha.

Lol... I'm basically doing 90 before I shift into 3rd...:rofl: It's wierd. Nice passes, especially for its for its first time out...

Well, had a hell of a run with the truck, but unfortunately had a serious mechanical failure which resulted in detonating and blew a hole in the driver side head at 1000 feet and lost all the coolant. Went slip and slidin but got it stopped at the end of the track.


Driver side head is a total loss, block may be junk as well. As long as the crankshaft and rods are ok I'm gunna rebuild it and start over. Pistons will be replaced.

It's best pass to date is 10.12 at 135mph, and beat trap was 10.33 at 140mph.

For loosing an engine I'm still in a good mood considering how well it ran for an unproven setup and not knowing how to drive a 2wd truck. Best 60 was 1.60.
