Do you drag race F1 cars? Do you road race top fuel cars? No.. You don't.

It's a sled pulling engine. It only needs to make that power for 30 seconds or so. BTW it has been doing it all season.

If you want 1000hp for 2 minutes continuous buy an Allison 250 turbine engine ;) and talk about it somewhere else.. I'm in the dyno forum dude:thumb:

Wow, Now that is cool, an all season 900 hp motor :thumb: Thats a feat! So if we do the math, if you did at least 3 sled pulls this season you sustained that hp for more than 2 minutes, good job!

I'm sure somewhere in the south they do.........

More interested in longevity, take it to 927 for 2 minutes, tear it apart (if its still together) then impress us with some info, that would be really cool! When did the dyno racing season start anyway.......:thumb:

WTF is wrong with you, 2 minutes??? do you even have a clue what your even saying??? you jump on a dyno forum and try to derail it like a f****** goon, take your S*** elsewhere

Nice numbers!

What RPM did it make peak power? Im assuming this is one of your high compression motors with torque numbers its making?

;)

It was over 750hp from 2750 to 4000 rpm... Torque was over 1000lb/ft from 2250 - 4000rpm :D

If I had the tuning dialed in a little more and used a MAF on it I could get it to come on a little sooner and build torque down lower. That's a 1.10 housing there, a .90 would've had a lot wider power band and more torque but the hp probably would've been lower. I'm going to get the turbine hp up with a bigger turbine and see what happens.

You gonna go to a 92 or 96 turbine? Have you ever done any testing with the 1.25ar on the 87 turbine?

Yes we tried the 1.25 A/R on the 87 and with 4.56 gears and 33's it was a pain to bring it up (HOLD IT BACK) on the line. We're going to run the 96 in a 1.0 or 1.10. With 4.56 and 35's it would've been easier to hold, or 4.10 gears.

What was the decision behind using stock pumps? Is it a requirement in the class? Will to give any EGT #'s?
