i dont knock the twins but i ran a 12.04 with a 4094 and single CP3. The 4094 is alot cheaper and still has great driveablility. Im hoping to get in the 11's this year.

Ya I would like to run a gt42 since i dont do any towing....but that requires dual cp3's to get the most out of that charger and a built motor so I may run a Cheetah until I have the money for a small motor build then when im ready for dual cp3's ill put on the gt42. Twins would be nice but id rather run a single. Twins are nice for mainting towing capabilities and I assume their great on daily driver but I dont mind a big single instead.

I'm not sure if anyone has run a GT42-class charger with a single CP3.

It would be interesting to see what it does with a mod'd CP3 though.

matt ( maxpowerlb7 ) is running a gt42 cartrage bearing single cp3 with a modded ( home done ) regulator , he ran a 11.8# fuel only in vegas a few mounths back truck runs fine with a single cp3, and with the 1055 converter and high flow feed pipes its very streetable he tows some too just cant lug the gears.

Reece has a 4094 on his CCSB and at full weight with 20s he ran 12.30. I really dont think the cost is necessary to buy twins especially when you can pick up a used garrett for around $1500 just to get in the 12s. You can even run a stock turbo deep into the twelves..I guess im just unsure of what the purpose of wanting this dodge and/or wanting twin turbos in general is all about?

Honestly Its not because of the twin turbos that i liked the truck, its just a really cool truck IMO. He sent me a few more pics and it looks nice. Ill post them up later just for fun....I plan on keeping my dmax though. I just thought that gettin in the 12's would be too costly. But it looks like for the same trouble of goin through this i could keep mine and be in the 12's. Im thinkin on seeing how fast i can make my truck go on the stock turbo just for fun. Im never gonna be one of the fastest with aftermarket turbos so im gonna see if i can be one of the fastest with a stock turbo, at least until I have the money to do the truck right when i do go with an aftemarket turbo.

Ohh yaa, isnt Larry sellin his? I guess i could try it on a single cp3 for fun but i doubt my motor would last long with that thing on there. Itd be cool to se what itll do on a single cp3 though.

I'm not sure why you are worried abuot the durability of the duramax? The LBz does have a bad habit of crackin pistons, I have come to terms with that. While it does suck when it happens it could be alot worse, you could be one of the 24V cummins I can't remember the casting code but one of them the block cracks, it was a very common block it has been corrected I just can't remember the years it effected. I would rather crack a piston than crack my block. Like stated earlier I have nothin against Cummins I like them very much they are just rapped in a TERD of a truck.

If your looking to get into the 12's with your truck you can keep the stock turbo and do that. If your looking to go faster like Pat said you could use n20.

Ya but if a piston crack that means my trucks down till i get some better ones put in and that costs time and money....Pat thinks it was lack of quality control because some LBZ pistons crack and some dont. Until i push my truck harder i wont know. But if it holds up then great. Im just tryin to prepare for the worst, because if i just hope my motor is strong and then it blows its gonna suck.
