You mean as in disassembling the bodies and putting new tips on?
As far as removing the whole unit... just remove the return line clip, pull up.
Remove each supply line.
Unbolt hold down.
Pull up on injector.
:cool2:
The cups coming out are only a propblem on the LB7's as far as i know .
Thanks, I have a bit of a problem though. 1 of the injectors came with the fuel tube on the top broke flush. Not sure if it broke in transit or what, but how in the $%^&# do I get that out of there.

How much do you think the stock intake is hurting me running this new turbo?
Also I found most of the tourqe values but I can't find the up pipe bolt specs. Anyone know off hand?
Could anyone point me to a good DIY on injector replacement. I got the turbo out and I'm just waiting for my headers and up pipes to show up before I put the turbo back in, so I thought I'd do the injectors. A buddy of mine said I'm crazy to do injectors myself because the cups come out so easy. Anyone have some pointers for me?
This should help on swapping the nozzles Like they say in there just be careful and don't loose the shim cause it is small as shit.

As for pulling the injectors out it's really just as simple as taking all the stuff out of the way taking the fuel lines off and hold down bolt out and pulling the injector out.
FYI do one injector at a time and make sure you get new coppers and o-rings before hand my bet is your gonna rip one pulling them out.
This should help as well http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13565
I got the truck running and it seems fine other then the dash says reduced power, is that normal? SO all I need to do is clear the codes? Also I had to drain the antifreeze what's a good way to check that the coolant is lowing properly? Thanks.
