this was my thinking as well I have seen bigger on a stock work fine I figured Id just put that money to screw in cups better springs ect
Valvesprings? Pushrods? Looks good Jake! :happy2::happy2:
For the power you are after stock cam will be fine. If you decide you want more then a cam would be a decent idea. Dmitri claims 300 hp from his camshaft and valve train. It's kinda hard to argue his fuel only numbers are huge on anyone's dyno.:thumb:

Little update I went with Scotts threaded cups and got rid of my II cups after seeing both in my hands I feel confident that Scotts cups will take as much abuse as the II cups will and he is priced very well compared to II. II's cups are great quality don't get me wrong but I felt I'd test Scotts as I will actually test them hard and Scott is a great guy to work with
I second this ^ Scott is awesome to work with and his cups are awesome! Real nice piece for sure. I haven't got to test them out yet but they are installed and the motor is slowly coming together. It's a good piece of mind having threaded cups in:thumb:
So Jake did you find bent rods?
X2 I have a couple blocks sitting in my shop ready to get built just gotta get my funds together.Looking good :thumb:
all these engine build threads are making me more excited to start mine.
The last one the stuck on me i threw the inj in a vise protected by a rag obviously then used vise grips on the cup and she twisted right off.
