been out of work since oct 08 went to college pretty much all of 09
was a nice day out yesterday droped of 4 resumes had 3 on the spot interviews..been asking for 30-35k on a 40 hour week or roughly ~16.00/hour

got woke-up this am with a phone call. saying really like you resume and knowledge, have no problem with the pay and when can you start.

the only down side... is been out for almost 18 months. done all i can to keep my truck.. probly being loosing it soon.. looking at parting some stuff out.
mainly engine, tranny, rear bumper and hitch.
if theres any interest int he said parts i will post up in the forsale section.
its kinda sad to have to do this but kinda part of starting over.....

well dang, that's good you got a job, yet terrible it's too late and you're losing your truck. :(

What all went back in your engine?

LB7 mahle pistons deliped .040 over
block decked, bored with head studs and torque plate
keyed cam/ crank
LBZ block, crank and camshaft
apr main studs
crower billet rods.
everything else is stock. no head studs instaled in the engine. got ~30k on the engine and ~60K on the mike l SCIV tranny with 1056

simom im going to be working brakes springs alingments and possibly clutches.. they have a fw cutter.. 3 mechs in the shop 5 bay shop with 2 pull through and 2 part/ half bays.
