Are some of the other guys FR? If so, try to get an idea of what jobs pay. This way you will track it's pay vs. what it takes you to do it, and be able to judge when it's time to start flagging jobs.

did that throguh college (wyotech) unemployemtn + gi bilL pre 911 helpd alot

right now im waitng on the VA to get my stuff sorted out can crossed over to 911 gi bill that way 80% of my college bills will be wiped out.

but they are back logged soem 4 months :(
I heard about that. They also have a program for "emergency" as well as "pre-pay" that I think you would qualify.

As far as being 4months back-logged, I am still waiting for my involuntary 7month stop-loss payment.

boss talked to me today..

said i keep hold course he is going to have to adjust my pay :cool:

found out this though goes in affect after probation.
if i have over 140 billable hours i get a bonus (500.00 iirc). and 50.00 for every 10 hours on top of that a month

in the last two day he says im runging .5-1 hour faster then billed hours

jsut got a broken leaf in of a henderson supsion. (navistar truck) bill is 3.5 hours. im at 2 hours tight now.. 1st time messing with it.. i got one pin to drive out and oiut come the spring pack.

theres a tranny/clutch job he said i can have when i feel fricky

boss man did 15 years on the floor.. really nice guy to work for.. laid back so is the other mech

Sounds like it will be a good place to work. Smart of the owner to reward you for trying to stay ahead of the hours.

When I was working with the dealers I would average 125-140. This was with a large load of warranty work, it probably pays about 60% of what Mitchell quotes.. My best was over 170.
