Good Mark aligns my truck on a regular basis now someone else I can trust to do it right.
going form ~50k to ~18k yearly is a big kick in the nuts.
Fixed it for you Congrats on the job
congrats on the Job Adam! If you dont mind me asking, what happened to the 50k a year job?
Sorry to hear about the truck. Any problems with the VA helping...or more? If you don't mind taking more classes you may get paid for going to school. I have the kicker and I get about 200-500extra a month if I get a good deal on books and take 1-2"cram" classes (1=1/2 time, 2=Full time).
I supplemented my income by taking two classes for a while, but I eventually headed out to Iraq where the goverment doesn't worry about paying people. Just about everyone I knew took pay cuts (as I was in the "car" business).
Good luck in whatever you do or decide.
Congrats on the job Adam!
Being out of work that long is mega tough. I was out for nearly 18 months (had some part time here and there and some stuff that lasted a few weeks..). Went from 60k+ to $0...
Finally found something in September, but it's a far cry from the old checks. Good benefits tho.
thanks brandon:hug:
hows the truck?
I drive lots of miles it goes in quaterly for a check. I will be doing front end parts next week when I return from Reno left front hub and ball joints while I am at it. 02 2500 CC/LB
Still runnin'..Nearly 110k now. Got a BUNCH of $hit for it just sitting in the lot this weekend at the NHRDA event.
With 40k+ at 600hp to the wheels, and 30k at 500hp before that, I figured I'd error on the side of caution.
Being that this is my DD, and I'm a broke bastard...
outstanding...
heard banks was up there
yeah banks was there, that rail of theirs is nasty!
Congrats though adam! i was kinda in the same boat you were. Was a mechanic here in flagstaff for DPS through contract with my auto shop and since none of the officers are driving as much as they use to ive been sittin on my ass all day with no work and no pay. i was lucky to get 40 hours for two weeks and bills are really backed up. Sucks cause i had jsut graduated in May from college and couldnt find anything worth workin for. But i finally just landed a job in phoenix that brings a steady pay check and a bit of a raise. Moving this weekend too, but i know how you feel, i was on the verge of loosing my tools (couldnt make the payments each week), my truck and gettin things shut off.
hopefully i can hide the truck for a month or two till i get caught up with the new job. If you want i can hide yours with mine
Who quickly are they expecting you to go flat rate?
I was a Honda/Acura tech for 12 years. The real money doesn't happen until you can double your hours a day..
