Exergy bad balance rates

Just installed 60 overs a few days ago and started up the new motor for the first time tonight. Balance rates suck.. Will these level out eventually? Didn't even have enough running time to come to operating temperature. Probably from the piston rings not seated yet, but just wanted to ask.

X2 I'll be getting my 100 overs back this week. Hope we don't have any issues.

I dont know much but I would think the reading needed to be taken at operating temp. I wouldnt freek out quite yet, get her hot and check em again.

I'm not freaking out yet. I really think its just the new piston rings, but not 100% sure so I figured id ask on here.

Is the tune stock? Is the pump stock? Lift pump pressure?....all of these have an effect on balance rates

Yes Its not a tune built for 60 overs, didn't think idling would be any different really. Maybe I was wrong about that... 12 psi lift pump and around 4,800 rail pressure ran for about a minute long.

X2 when I first put my Exergy 45 overs in I checked the balance rates and they were all over the place. After the first couple drives they were all perfect.

You need to at least run it long enough to get all the air bled out of it.

Gotta be warm to check rates and gotta tune for them sticks. Greg @ Exergy sent a flow sheet to me with my purchase which I forwarded to Rob for new tunes. Did you get a flow sheet? No doubt you will be happy with Exergy, the list of happy trucks with that kind of quality honing is getting longer and longer. On a side note, I wish II had come out with those threaded injector cups when I did my sticks! FML

they should come around just fine.... I am a dealer for Exergy and i have not yet had a bad set let alone one bad injector. They are the best in the business. Theres always other variables also.

250 is still minimal mileage. Gunna take at earliest 1000 miles from what ive read

hmm well who knows. I've been on er pretty good, got almost 300 miles. Running a high 500 horse tune(hoping for 6 actually) Guess I'll keep an eye on them alittle longer.
