They are pretty stout that's for sure. For a truck like yours it would be just about the only stock part left, so why not. If anything is going to break its whatever you haven't touched yet :roflmao:

I have seen abt 6 of them break. With having coil overs I doesn't want to risk taking a shock out if one broke, that's my luck... They where not that bad on the price when you look at what you are getting. My truck is a little higher Hp then the average setup. Just want it to be safe.

So these have lifetime warranty?

Have many stock ones broken besides on sled pulling trucks?

will you do me a favor and see if the star where the axle goes into the inner CV plunges back and for, and if so, how much? they are using a 930 CV and im curious if its a plunging or non plunging one. very very stout setup though, i highly doubt you will have issues :D

yeah, its not much of a concern for you being lowered but if you go lower and run a decent negative angle or vise versa, CVs are the last of your worries for sure :D

Even with a djm 3/5 drop I was fine CV wise. The amount the front end lifts when racing only helped. Even maxed out truck runs stock cv's.

Mine is a street truck, it will prob go down the drag strip a few times. I do not plan on putting a cage in it. The reason I got the cv's are I was concerned abt loosing of traction and gaining it on the street. Thank you for looking out.

no prob. i was more curious myself what CV they used as ive looked into building my own 930 CV setup for the front of my tracker that i crawl with and still use IFS

Wait what?

Don't understand how those CV's will fix that

Spinning aint winning :D

loosing traction and gaining it back breaks shit. he doesnt want the CVs to be the weak link and take out more shit if they do blow

Well if your spinning to begin with you don't stay in it.

I'd be more worried about breaking shit in the trans than a CV joint.
