Reminds me of an old story...

Two men are walking back from the river after a day of fishing, both wearing their wadders. They spot a grizzly coming up river towards them.

Joe says, "Hell Bill! Look at the size of that bear! He's coming at us!"

"No problem", says Bill, and he takes off his wadders and starts to put on his tennis shoes.

Joe smirks, "Hate to tell you this Bill, but you ain't going to outrun a grizzly, they can run as fast as a horse."

Bill smiles as he ties his shoes, "I don't have to outrun the bear. I just have to outrun you."

Probably a better race would involve adult beverage drinking...Last to fall down, wins...

I'm sure that would save on ambulance bills, hospital bills, etc.

My drinkin has its swings... like a seasonal thing...3mo cycle....of lots of drinkin to almost none or none. dunno why, somtimes it just dosnt sound good, and sometimes i cant grab a cold one fast enough! Usually its beer 4 me, I love the suds! But occationally some nice bourbon or vodka and rarely even a scotch. I really dont drink like i used too, not that fun gettin piss drunk like it used to be, every once ina while is ok but age is factoring in there:p Hangovers really suck ass nowadays
I'll take a nice buzz most the time, long as im not drivin. If i am drivin, i barely drink anything and at that its spaced out over along period of time.

New kick of the moment: Screwdrivers W/ premium vodka and Simply Orange!

An accidental discovery of a kickass one happened when we ranout of Stoli.... ABSOLUTE -New Orleans- its flavored with black pepper an mango...sounds nasty but its not bad, burns some! But we mixed that up with some Simply Orange.....exellent combo discovery!!!!!! Get the sauce and vitamins all in one and taste exellent too!

back on topic if a motor build is lets say anywhere from $8000-$15000, and you already have your duramax, with some go fast parts on it already. The cost of selling the truck to go buy a mega cab which might cost you even more money out of pocket, cuz megacabs are expensive. (And I don't kow if your truck is paid for or not but that also plays a role.) might start you off in the hole in the first place.

By the time you sell your dmax, buy a stock dodge, build it, put on parts, turbos, cp3's trans etc... just to get you where your dmax is right now and them to get past it, you probably could have taking that money that you wasted on buying another truck and putting parts on it and built your LBZ kept the truck which you probably have the way you like it, and beat up on cummins' all day long and it would give you the opportunity to go way further with your build since the motor is now built. :2cents:
