Info: DIY VGT build

Has anyone built there own modifed VGT? I would like to build my own LLY turbo for my 05' LLY DD. I was thinking about going to a 66 or 68 billet wheel, Fingers light weight veins and a 10 blade 6.0 Ford turbine. I'm a Machinist by trade, so I can machine the cover and exhaust housing if needed. Any info would be appreciated.

iv done all of what you just stated above i went lly housing with a 6.0 10 blade turbine, fingers vanes, billet 68 comp wheel, rebuild kit of ebay with 360 thrust etc and ported and ceramic coated turbine housing it was a very fun charger and cleaned up my built motor big tunes nice

No, you need the 03' 6.0 10 blade turbine. Flows more air up top.

yes as lbz lmm and lml have smaller turbines standard i believe

yes correct but i think we are talking turbine wheels here all compressor wheels are definitely different lly being the largest in stock form
