I was under the impression that it was a half ton truck (it had 6 lug front wheels anyway) that had been back halved and had a duramax and allison transplanted into it.

Nevermind, I just looked at the pics in his garage on DP, it had 8 lug front wheels. I must have remembered wrong.

It was done already. Lar's truck ran 11.9x on the bottle with a stock transmission.

I wonder what his fastest #2 time was since weight doesn't matter.

Still sucks that truck was stuck in that fire :cry: It was sure a awesome truck.

was limp turned off with EFI? Is that possible?

I don't call that a stock duramax in the case that we are talking here. It has been extensively altered to a configuration not available, much like putting a Dmax in a smaller vehicle and calling it stock. Not taking away from their efforts either.
