What's your power goal?
I'd skip the billet mains and put that toward parts you NEED, like valves and such
I have an s474 im gonna compound with the stocker for now and someday bigger. Short term goal, 600+ daily driver. I dont want to pull the motor again so i figure build the internals now and i can always do bolt on's later.. Idk maybe im going about this all wrong, thought about throwing in a good used motor and leaving it stock too

I'm at 660 RWHP on stock mains with just studs and a line hone. If you keep the torque reasonable, you can go higher HP without billet mains IMO.
A true 600+ WHP is a stinking lot of power in real life. 660 pushes my truck at 8,300 lb to a 13.08 @ 104MPH in the quarter mile. With a lighter setup, it'll rip like mad.

My ccsb weighed 8200 lbs last time I put it on the scaleJesus what is on your pickup to make it weigh that much? my 05 CCSB weighs 6800-7K depending on how much fuel and if I took a crap or not that morning
I wish I knew :spit:. I can't account for about 500 lbs of the weight. The rest comes from a bed tank full of diesel, tool box, air compressor, and lift gate.Jesus what is on your pickup to make it weigh that much? my 05 CCSB weighs 6800-7K depending on how much fuel and if I took a crap or not that morning
