Its probably an old one. When i went to the link for the entry form, which is this:
http://www.dieselpowermag.com/news/0909dp_diesel_power_challenge_2010_entry_form/index.html

I was looking to the options at the right - and saw this link so clicked on it to follow it. I got all excited : Diesel Power Challenge Entry Form - Show The World What Your Truck's Made Of!

So - after opening it - i read it - and got real excited thinking they were changing the format this year - because to my knowledge they've never had an event on both east and west coast before? Thats what it says - so i figured they had updated the form. Too bad they don't even have a posting date or anything for any of these articles.

Anyways - i'm sure it was a false alarm. I have tried to send them an email to try and get some questions answered all the way around though, as well as posted on their forums - so hopefully i'll get some answers and put them all up here.

We were headed for the TS event anyway, now we will have to tow two vehicles if I get picked. Don't dare go all that way back driving it, long walk home if it breaks.:D

I would suggest you submit a picture or two of your truck, sounds like a number of guys are entering this year and anything you can do to make your application stand out would probably help. Newly painted his purple to get it noticed.:coolspot:

Ya whore it up. When i sent in my application, I sent several pictures along with a cd with a few vids on it.:D

Well damn, I don't know why I didn't think of it with all the slow showy trucks they have been featuring lately. Maybe I'll fill out another one and send it in with pics and vids.

I would , the editors are the ones who pic , and I doubt they are even that familiar with mods to know if what we have is good or not . I sent 8 pics in with my app :D pics of the truck in drag setup ,sled pulling form , new motor , ect . Better to have too many than not enough IMOP.

Several people who should know and Diesel Power magazine itself has stated the Diesel Power Challenge will be held the week prior to the TS event in Bowling Green, KY in early May. ATS who is one of the main sponsors of the event has it listed on their website in their upcoming events as being held in Salt Lake City at the Rocky Mtn Speedway the 5th-7th of June. http://atsdiesel.com/ats2/events/events_coming.asp

That is a pretty big difference of location and time.:confused:
