Just got off the Phone with Glenn, I just wanted to give everyone an update as i dont like negative threads like these towards me or ATP. He called me at 5:21 and had this thread posted by 5:35 (my time) which i was on the phone helping a different customer.

In the end, I remotely got on his computer, downloaded all the EFILive software, updating the bootblock and fireware, registered his EFILive, and attempted to copy the stock tune but his OBD2 had no power.

Just an FYI he bought the v2 in July of 2011.

Im getting him taken care of and getting his stock tune to Rob.

I didnt post this comment to bash Glenn whatsoever just posted this so you guys know exactly what happened and is going on. Im continuing to help him all i can to get him up and running.

Thank you all for the kind words and posts. We try and do our best here at ATP and give it 110%

Got the fuze changed and stock tune sent to rob. We will have your tuning back to you as quickly as possible glenn :)

I know its frustrating bullett, when I first got EFI I was completely lost. I didn't know where to begin. I got on this forum and met some friends and got phone #'s. I had many people eager to help me and every single one of them refused to take anything in return! With the help of my new forum friends I was able to install the changes my tuner sent me without wasting his time. In my openion theres only so much a tuner should have to do, I felt like it was up to me to at least learn how to retrieve a stock tune and install his tunes. I cant guarantee you much but what I can tell you without hesitation, if you have a problem and come on this forum with a good atitude your problem will be fixed. These people on here are a different breed, they take pride in helping friends but at the same time will get knee deep in your ass if you get shitty.

EFI Live has a learning curve. Time investment is needed to understand the interfaces before you start flashing. It also varies from truck to truck it seems. Mine is very finicky, not sure if all LLYs are sensitive to voltage changes while trying to flash, but sheesh, one little change like just a USB charge adapter and it hangs up mid flash. I have had the "ECM is in an unknown state" crap a couple of times. First time scared the crap out of me, thought I bricked the damn thing. After researching forums, found the cure. It was actually what Rob told someone to do that was in the same boat, worked just fine.

If I had the V2 for 8 months prior to getting any tunes I sure wouldn't let it sit there. The information is out there, just have to search for it (or ask intelligently) and be willing to put the time in to learn it. :thumb:
