Spool up is as fast as the stock turbo. Actually feels faster to me but maybe because its just moving more air it comes on faster.

Most boost I have seen is about 40PSI, or close to it. My boost gauge only goes to 30, so I was getting the number out of a log I took. I forget exactly but it was just under or just over 40. And that was on about 3100is-3300us pulse width and 30° max timing.

Same as on my truck:) I loved that turbo for towing way better than VVT IMO
Spooled very fast off the line or towing i used 3600 shift points with the 35s Boosted launches where easy to spool
28-32psi on that turbo was really nice
DP was rarely over 1:1 on any tune

Thanks for the input guys, I mainly bought it to reduce the DP numbers ive been seeing with my stocker (70psi) and I didnt like pushing my turbo that hard for this long. Seems like I made the right choice in turbos :thumb:

It is and then it isn't it seems..

I did a blackstone oil sample when I changed my oil and there wasnt a sign of coolant/glycol in my oil.. Im starting to think my water/meth was skewing the results. Ive only had to add about a gallon of coolant over the past year.

Plus I got a smokin deal from Newly on it.

Awesome!

Let us know who it turns out. If I go with a bigger single, the HTT will probably be it.

Update!

Got the UPS box of goodies today. Have 1 question..

What does everyone use for a mouthpiece? My kit didnt include a 90* silicone boot, not sure if it was needed or not? Overall, im impressed with the kit. I really like the 2 piece downpipe too.
I dont really think a LBZ MP will fit.

Come on Tech Expert:D the kit should have come with the BD mouthpiece... IIRC the HTT turbo sits 2in further forward than the stock turbo.

I had a S&B intake tube laying around from my LBZ and it fit perfect, and I could use a hose clamp around compressor housing....if only it fit

ok i remembered wrong the HTT doesn't sit 2 inches further... the LBZ MP should fit. I run the LBZ MP with my 4094 and it is a snug fit, but it fits

The S300 would need a v-band flange welded to it for the LBZ mp to fit right? I know my s400 was setup for silicone hose, wasn't a v-band flange anyways.

parts missing so far are the 4 bolts that hold down the turbo to pedistal, great.

It didn't come with a black 90° piece of 4" steel tube?

2 piece downpipe?

LBZ kit must be way different.

And I actually think that the HTT sits 1" closer to the firewall...

Nope, no steel tube.

they gave me like 2 blocker plates so i can remove my egr, but their not LBZ plates so whatever...

yeah 2 piece 4" downpipe, going to be PITA to put in.

I have never seen a 2 peice down pipe , and as was stated it should have came with a metal tube................ 4" dia .............75-90 deg bend on said pipe for the intake ?

Edit : just checked out the BD install PDF for LBZ and they re-use the stock intake peice and V-band .
