R is in. Very nice converter! However, I’m still sitting there spinning like before. The video is crap - sorry. But I ran it at a usual 1/3throttle merge and it would stay unlocked until over 80mph in 6th. I did it again at 40 and 50% throttle same thing.

Drops to 700 at about 80. Before that it’s spikingover 1100 and then most of the tome in the 900’ish range.

I’ve said that from the beginning. No idea what is wrong though.

Given your unusual circumstances you had to put something in for your application to start to diagnosing it. You had a precision which as I’ve seen many times over including a 08 in here yesterday will have slip as high as you were seeing and then you had converter better suited for a s400 so chasing your tail would of been easy up until now.

Don’t forget the first 3-1/2 years that precision had no issue, it only started this in June last year.

The Transgo converter flow valve is known for beating itself to death if you happen to be running one.

I wonder how many of us with older trans builds will eventually have an issue like this, or do and dont realize it?

I just talked to Evan and he thinks so too. Got some great info from him and a plan going forward. Hell of a nice guy and I really appreciate the call!

That last screenshot shows 2385 engine RPM with 1084 slip, so the input shaft wants to be at 1,301 RPM. That's probably half your problem right there. The trans tuning is setup so that while merging up an on-ramp it is trying to pull the motor down to a really low RPM.

Imagine if you had a lockup box and hit lockup right there. You'd fall right off even the stock turbo.

I think a trans tune would help quite a bit. I don't have any explanation for why it worked right before, or why it changed, but in its current state, I think the shift points are not right for your build.

I think it's not getting proper pressure. Once it does the slip will be less and it will work again. We'll know soon.

I would look at the F trim valve spring to see if it's bent or broken and also look at the aluminum sleeve on the end of the F trim valve. The sleeve should fit snug on the valve with no side to side movement.
