Missed the race. Still no turbos. Received a phone call from the nice receptionist lady Wednesday saything that they could be shipped that day. I told her that even if I got the turbos Friday that was too late to get everything setup to race the next day. She appologised and emailed me the tracking number. That was Wednesday. Tracking says that Fedex finally picked them up yesterday afternoon...

I asked multiple times why I didn't receive them on the 15th like what was promised and never got a reason why.

Well they have finally showed up. Packaging was legit and the turbos look good. Both new turbine wheels along with the new turbine housing on the small turbo like what was decided on. However the turbo blanket that would be thrown in for my troubles is MIA... Oh well. I'll hit up Levi and get a set made for the whole system. Just glad to have them back, ready to install and put this misunderstanding behind me.

Hopefully the mole can let them know this thread is bumped up once again kuz they screwed up again despite promises to make it right and give you a turbo blanket for the hassles. So much for businesses keeping their word and making things right. Oh well now you can get your truck back together and never deal with their crap again.

.....and you can come race with us at Tuff Truck Challenge to test the new setup!

If they work I'll be happy and just put this behind me. I feel a little bad for getting lippy with the receptionist lady the day I found out I'd miss my race, but I just wanted to know a reason why. I hate being left in the dark.

Hoping to get them installed this weekend as today is my Friday. But I need to get a few broken welds fixed first on the pedestal and hot pipe. If things go well it'll be drive-able Sunday night.

Well I can tell you this... hearing these bad boys spool makes me forget about everything that happened :happy2: The sound is ear piercing, both from the intake and the exhaust. Spool up is perfect, and EGT's and drive psi are down. I'm extremely happy now that the truck is back on the road.

Only concern I have, is on shutdown both chargers definitely make a new unique noise from the bearing cartrige that they didn't before, nor have I heard any other charger make. I'm hoping it's their unique ball bearing setup and it's a normal characteristic.

Thanks guys! The noise kind of reminds me of a jet engine shutting down, just a little rougher sounding. When I get home today I'll grab the camera and get some quality sound recorded.

Wow looks amazing I love your engine bay!!:thumb:

Thank you! Months and months of minuscule attention to detail.

Both wheels spun great and smooth. After a good warm up cycle they still free spin for a decent amount of time. They made that noise the first time I shut it down too so it's been doing it since install. They were never that loud before which is why I'm just a little sketched. Even loosened both oil drains to make sure there was oil flow. But besides the noise they work better than before. Almost zero smoke on my stock and 1800us tunes.

If only one was making the noise and there was operating issues I would be a bit more worried. But they are working so perfectly right now and both make the noise that I keep telling myself it will be normal haha.

Still cant watch the link but do you have ceramic or regular bb in those turbos?

They both are the "triple ceramic ball bearing" setups.
