I don't think a coilover will support another 1000lbs of dead weight, but I don't have first hand knowledge, only a bunch of reading here.

Took a bit of time but I wanted to make sure I was not going to get any lower on ride height. Most have drop spindles and/or keys and I didn't want that low because I wouldn't be able to turn on the balloon tires.

Is a 900# spring pretty standard for a dmax or does having a reg cab make it different for you.

There is a reason we went with the longer shock as well, no mistake there incase anyone is wondering ;)

...and that reason is?

so whats a typical coil over cost?think I could still put a plow on my truck?

I dont think the amount of stress that much weight would put on the lower mount would work out too well.

I didn't want to loose but maybe 1-2" ground clearance from where im currently at right now (stock keys all the way down and no bolts)

CV's aren't level when I leave the line s wanted to get a max drop of 2" more to compensate, plus, I don't think I'd be able to turn on my balloon tires if it was any lower.

So you saying the setup you linked you think you will go no lower then 2" from your current ride height.

Would you guys go with bearing mounts or poly mounts? I was thinking poly for my 2wd RCLB but would like a little insight. Also thinking 800lb springs but undecided.

The QU1's are poly.

Also, is the general consensus grab a grade 8 bolt that will fit through the lower shock bore on the QA1's to the factory shock tab on the LCA?

Yes but match it to the size bore the qa1 uses, the stock mount will need to be drilled a bit bigger to fit the bolt
