No, I was being serious. They are a product QA1 sells to make adjustments easier. We used them when we did the coil overs on the race truck. I was trying to add some info to the thread, but whatever.

You added nothing it seemed?? Maybe I'm jumping the gun but you seem to be acting like a dick in a van?

I guess we all had an off-night last night?? I was being serious about thinking Josh was joking, I would've never guessed that needle bearing thrusts would hold up on suspension applications

Did you know about the bearings? It seems there are others who didn't. I wasn't being a dick until you got an attitude. I really don't know what I did to get you so upset.

OK so I am interested in the QA1's and spring combo.

Would like to drop my 2WD a bit, but hate the torsion bars. I keep seeing the DD401's and 900 lb springs. Where can I find the springs? Are 900 lb springs too much for the 2WD?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

900 is not too heavy. IMOP, you guys should be looking for a heavier spring if you DD the truck

not sure of the weigh distribution differences between a 1500 and 2500.

I'll show measurements when I get them in on sag and compression.

Obviously my truck is substantially lighter than most....

I know i am being a lazy p.o.s by asking...
is there a coilover conversion for a leveled and/or lifted application?
Why didn't gm employ coilovers vs torsion bars? What are the negatives to a coilover setup?

leveled is a hard one to get the right sized shock for. lifted is much easier. But no, no conversions yet

I think it would have to do with the safety when trucks are super loaded down. Torsion bar sliding into the control arm has alot more meat to it than a single shock mount.

For me, I "shouldn't" have any issues running a coilover setup. Guys who DD their trucks, I would have to think long and hard about doing this.
