Due to the crazy cv angles and constantly bent/broken parts on my truck I removed the 305/55/20 and went back to the 285/55/20 these arms do nothing by allow you to clear the 305, the cv angles will be jacked, ball joint angles will be crazy and 4wd launches will destroy shit! I'm speaking from experience here not hear say or anything else!

Rule #1 never launch or sled pull these trucks with cranked torsion bars. It doesn't matter what parts you have on the truck it almost always equals bad news.

I have no problem running 305 tires with the torsion bar bolts out all the time, pulls and launches straight, but im running h2 wheels. I have never broke or bent a tierod, all i run for my front end parts is rough country sleeves.

Shoulda said they were aftermarket wheels, I'm sure h2 wheels allow you to run the 305 without issue. The aftermarket wheels don't allow this. Now if they made a good looking 20" factory wheel id be all over it.

Sorry to hijack, but would UCA's and dual shock hoops work on a truck with the t-bar bolts all the way out? Or would shocks have to be too short for the travel or what?

All season makes a nice brace, no need for a straight center link or pitman and idler arm braces

I ran 305/55/20's on my last truck, and wheels with a 5.75" back space, leveled with cognito uca's, braced with tie rods, swaybars ft and rr, basically everything but the centerlink, and i rubbed on the back side of the passenger wheel well, and i had also done some pretty creative and substantial "trimming" of rear of the inner fender liner & quite a bit of the lower corner of the body panels. I dont see being able to run that tire no rub without a lift, i switched to a 285/75/18 after that and run that size on our current truck and wont run another size as this tire is absolutely perfect for my needs. And its dia is 35" with an 11" wide foot print, i fit it wit cognito uca's and torsion bars at about 75% of maxed out.

I have a super diesel centerlink and i drive with my bolts both all the way out and almost all the way in, depending which setup i am in. On my truck, turning radius was not noticeably affected. Tire scrub happens, but because i expect to go through tires with a high hp truck, it hasn't bothered me, nor has it worn the tires badly enough to be concerned

I'm not to concerned with tires, just turning. I usually burn the rears off long before the fronts show any wear lol. How were they to install?

The all season bracket works flawlessly for me, sled pulling and drag racing. No toe-in, just need to check the nylon pad that rides against the diff every once in a while. Definetely the cheapest, most effective way. We went with PPE straight link on our 2.6 truck and it works 100%, but ya cant turn the thing!(CC LB)

None of our trucks have extreme CV angles though, that has a lot to do with it.

Yup, and the first boosted launch after being tuned with a larger turbo i snapped the cv axel on the drivers side

I don't plan on launching with them cranked up!!! I want to be able to let them down for pulling and drag racing. Just wanted to make sure when the bolts are out, that nothing about the Cognito UCAs will limit me lowering the front end. I would never be so dumb to think that replacing my control arms would allow my to disregard terrible cv angles and go all willy nilly launching that shit around town at like 20psi:thumb:

I cant let mine down at all
I didnt have this problem till i turned up the juice by adding the turbo and new tunes
Everyone finds the limit at one time or another
I only hit 10psi
I never thought replacing control arms would compensate for poor cv angle
Dumb, stupid, ignorant or not
shit happens
