Think im gunna give the limo another shot to tow the tracker out to KOH. Just towing either a flat bed or goose with a canam on it and tracker.
A/c compressor is leaking out the nose. Ordered another from napa but it was the wrong one. Decided to align it while i had it at work.
Explains the pull lol. Even though the caster is red, i prefer the higher caster numbers. After 45 min of tweaking
Drives like a dream down the road now. Correct compressor shows up tomorrow so ill get that swapped in then.
Also, it amazes me how much other shops would say this truck “cant be aligned properly”. No, it means your tech doesnt have an understanding about how camber/caster works and you just read what the computer says. They also struggle to center the steering wheel because these heavy ass trucks keep the floating front plates from actually moving during adjustments and the steering wheel turns instead even with the steering lock. If you just adjust one side at a time and make sure the opposite side stays at the same number it was before any adjustments were made, you can massage the tires/steering back to the center you made with some pushing. Hard to explain but simple to do once you see it.
