Guess I didn't post in here about that. Highest was .011 over the wrist pin with the lowest on the other side at .0095 or .010, can't remember off the top of my head. I had posted a thread on here asking if I should push quench close to that .020 line on A gaskets but wound up going B's based on suggestions and me not being able to accurately time when valves open to where the Pistons is in the bore.

You could have install a head on torqued and rolled it over by hand with silly putty on the piston. Cut it in half and measures to find valve to piston. Then just reinstall it

If I'm gunna cut it close, I'd rather map it out correctly and know exactly where I'll be as well as clay it. Since I can't do both due to time and tooling, I went the safer route.

Have you actually done that before? It's a PITA to use as a measurement ACCURATELY. Only thing I've found its good for is marking where the valves are hitting the pistons and need machined out. But at that point, putting marking compound on the valve heads will do just fine.

Yes I have and I meant play doh not silly putty. It's not that bad, just annoying having to torque it down.

She really is! Growing like a weed. Little over a month old and in 3 month clothes already lol

So we can expect a 15 second pass here soon? Lol

Getting this thing back together is going much slower than I wanted. Not knowing how some of this stuff routes has me taking things back off and putting back I again to get it all right. Helping momma with the little one takes up a lot of time too. About as far as I got yesterday

Anyhow, mostly there and building some tabs for the FICM to work was simple. Running it dry as well.
