Rudy ran at Commerce, GA again tonight. He ran a 12.1 @ 110 with the 310 tune, .093 jet of nitrous, and Suncoast converter and direct solenoid. He had a 1.69 60 foot time. It's a really solid 1/4 mile time with a not so great 60 foot. Congrats to Aaron once again!!!

1.69 60 foot....Not a good a 60 ft

thats a lame way of making it sound like the truck is an under achiever and as if it "would have gone 11's any other day". Basically trying to make it out like the truck has a lot left in it when it actually doesnt (which is perfectly fine, nobody is going to snicker at a 12.1)

12.1 is darn impressive regardless, he doesnt need to add the bullshit "AND that was on a bad 1.69 60 foot" excuse. GTFO, a 1.69 60 foot is very impressive and I guarantee hes going to have a really hard time doing better than that.

does anyone else know what I mean?

He's cut better 60's before...not by much but every little bit counts on that quest for the 11's.

thats a damn impressive time :cool2: really shows what the stock fuel system and trans can do . my only gripe is the .90 jet, to me the nitrous is no diff then throwing some big chargers on it , good to see the fords being able to compete .

I thought he changed his big turbo? I could be wrong. Impressive times none the less. It is startin o make up for that joke of a motor 6.0. I will be impressed when the truck has done that for 2 or 3 seasons and is still together.

Pretty good! Its prolly about maxed out as far as ita go, least without some serious work. The nitrous is a crutch though. Still movin:cool: Those are some heavy ass trucks too:eek:

The one thing the 6.4 has that i wish we did is piezo injectors. Once those are fully figured out, that will make for a killer injection system. IIRC, Elite diesel has bigger sticks for them so, might not be much more to figure out?

Nitrous makes it tough to gauge it.

I would like to know what it runs without NOS

Duramaxes only need fuel and chargers no laughing gas

There have been a couple of C/C shortbox's in the high 12's on diesel only. and who cares about nitrous, hp is hp. what ever gets you down the track faster. An .088 jet on my truck knocked 6 tenths off. A .093 on a truck that weighs 1000 lbs. more would probably do around the same or even a bit less.

nitrous is a crutch. number 2 only will prove a lot more. maybe a 12.99

It's a good number but I am not sure what to compare it too. What's his race weight?

Not gonna argue that, Cummins boys have realied on spray for years now to make them look good on the dyno. But it is a crutch.

LOL, I dont even know how you can say that, with a straight face, There are just as many Cummins making huge power on just #2, wasnt to long ago the big Duramax numbers were put up with the help of NO2, last I checked the P-pump was still king. I think 12.1 is impressive as hell for a motor thats only been out for a little more than a year. How long after the Duramax came out was the first 12.1? It'll be interesting to see, what happens when a big single goes on one of these trucks with a built trans and then see what its capable of.

how often are you useing all the HP you have when you are on the street any ways? if you want to spray whil eon the track or dyno go for it. it makes you that much faster and that much larger of numbers. if winning a race means i need to spary a lil you better believe i would. Buck sprays the ever loving piss out of his truck and runs 9's saying that shouldnt count?
