Mike, what are you talking about?? One of the trucks best time is a mid 13.... the other will be a mid to low 12.

I love all the "these trucks will run this time" comments you guys have.:rofl: You are making fun of this guy for saying that his truck that runs 8.0s in the 1/8 will run a 12 in the 1/4 (which is very likely the truth); but then the next instant you say Brian will be low 12s as soon as he gets the turbo on (BTW we did that on a stock turbo a long while ago). And a few weeks ago when you said that your truck would run with mine - still see you are .7 behind. Then there's the heads that would outflow SoCal's, then you had to get some from SoCal to fix the truck. So far I don't see you living up to your own claims, and again I see that you are picking on a guy with ALOT less done to his truck.
I recall seeing trucks running Mike's tuning running 13s and you guys were proud, and on a built trans to boot........

When I say "old" i mean...those were the beginning fo the summer....I mean read my sig as it says....I have two different times on there...two different tracks, two different events...so on so forth. I don't think I ever posted 13.4 with an 8.1 never. And that IS the best I have done IN the 1/4. Would you agree that 12s are very reasonable consideration given the 1/8?

First, thanks Dustin for having my back. I appreciate that.
This was a mostly fun thing with Brian. Brian has helped me out a bunch...I have asked him several questions about set up...tires....different things. He has always been very kind to me...and none of his ribbing have I taken too seriously or been offended over. I have bagged on him as well in this.
I am pretty much over Newly.
I did call Brian out...and like I posted previously...it was more about getting into the 12s than anything else...wasn't really about which truck was faster between Brian and myself. I will still race him, but...damn.
I don't want anyone in trouble, especially Brian. Newly, doesn't need to be as well. He said some things that weren't called for, but that is Newly. I took most of it jokingly, until the very end.

However, one of the main reasons that people (such as myself) do not post often and simply read tech is because of others bashing what has been done to trucks that don't have as much money invested. Like I said....I have 500 bucks in my truck and I run 8.09 1/8. That is why I love DMAX. Can't do it with Dodge. Might be able to with a brand new Ford. just my .02

As far as what I can and can't do, I don't need to prove my abilities to anyone.It sure is funny saying a stock turbo 12.6 truck will run a low 12s with a bigger turbo. Just cause you cant get a lbz with a SC4, 66mm turbo, fuel system...into the low 12s doesnt mean that Mike cant:thumb:
