LOL Chad, I was like oh shit!

anyway, looks like you need a heat spacer in there. Head is too close to cyl. gets hot high comp.

we used to remove the heat shields fro more power and shave the cooling head. That is what happens when you go to far. Was the a copper flat washer thing between there? if not you need one. Maybe a little thicker. What % nitro are you running? 20% maybe step down to 15%

Yeah, there was a copper washer there when I took the head off. The motor is spec'd to run 33%, so that's what we've been running. I will be getting a new motor next week for it, the factory has a $120 replacement policy for a new motor w/o a cooling head, if I don't decide to get a bigger motor for it.

I know, I know, I just jinxed myself... If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. The funny thing is, this broke a year and a week to the date of the one on my original truck motor.

I have a Revo with a RB Concepts TM323 in it. Thing flies! But honestly, Brushless and Lipo is where its at.

yeah, I looked at that swap. Looks very fast, and less weight too. It just the battery charging that I hate. It's too easy to fill up a tank with Nitro.

Shyoot, just get one of the new revo mini's. I believe they already come with a Castle Creations Mamba Brushless and Lipo. As far as just filling up, remember, with an electric, there is no tuning. Plus just buy a few batteries and keep them charging one after the other. My buddy is heavy into the electrics. One of his batteries lasts him 30 minutes or more of hard driving.
