Maybe some cut pistons in the next motor LOL
Wonder if Carillo make a billet rod for these things... Gonna have to talk to Guy about that.

Ah, theres the money shot!:spit:
Pretty common on the Traxxas 2.5, 2.5R and 3.3......... That nice little notched beam design is a bad stress riser and seems anyone that runs a decent race tune-up in one ends up making a 2-piece con-rod at some point or another
I only put a gallon of 20% through my 2.5R before i yanked it for the Collari and my old motor went into a Kyosho TR-15 buggy with a boat pipe!
Get ya a RB Concepts or a nice OS, Novarossi and you'll have your hands full! Werk's racing/Sirio have some nasty mills too, my Collari is a Werks motor. Some of them have 2 huge transfer ports on both sides of the crankcase, big enough you almost can put motor screws in
Put a OS.18 in it yesterday.
:happy2: :thumb: Thata fix it! She'll scoot with reliability now! Addicting motorsports are like a plague! :spit:
Wish there were actual car/truck diesels besides conversions for us, just plane engines. I say that because instead of alum pistons and ABC sleeves and such, the diesel plane engines have steel pistons and cylinders/sleeves and are overbuilt to handle the stress! I have heard of may instances of old timers flying the same, untouched diesels fairly contenouslly since 1950's and such! We could wear out many a chassis on the same motor
