I'll be interested in watching this. I'm surprised to see the power fall off as early as it did on the current setup. Do you think a different turbo setup would raise the peak power higher in the rpm range?

No offense, but Wagler uses a lot of Wiseco pistons for their builds, all of which have NGM DIESEL bowl designs, even some new Diamond pistons.

Thanks for the Info troll.... nowhere in this thread is wades name mentioned. Way to muddy up a good informative thread with useless information .Though it may not seem possible to you, Wade is not involved in every high hp/competitive dmax engine build. End of rant. Congrats to Brett and Danville. That's one hell of a runner.

Now Im not trying to start a fight b/c Id like to understand why Shane...but how do you figure that?
In the end, weight of the assembly is and will be a big benefit. That is not a dis on Fingers pistons at all.

Its always a big step to take going from a solid known setup to another setup that you have high hopes for. Depending on the goals I guess a guy will have to look himself in the mirror and decide if its really worth going to another setup that may go faster and may blow faster.

Ross Pistons have been in a lot of high horsepower pulling/racing engines for years and have been tried or true.

Wagler uses a lot of Ross pistons. They held up better in Cummins Killer than anything else when they were having issues from other items. It's also what's in Farmer Dave's engine.

Brett's bottom end should be very stout with the hemi rod end Winberg crank and Wagler rods.

Awesome job guys, can't wait to see the new setup doing work! Pretty much identical setup as the Nova, but I'm running 225% Inj, two 12mm pumps and 1.32's on the atmo's. Curious as to how much more lag the big housings are than the 1.0's. Any idea, have you compared the two?
