I was guessing so. Had to be somewhere that current was going. Check it again after sitting overnight. If it's somewhere around 10.5 to 11 volts then you lost one of the cells
Already replaced. They tested it at AZ, said "it needs charged and tested" told them it sat on a charger since 0400 till about 1830 today, it's dead, his reply.. yep. Got a brand new DLG-H6. Get the other side replaced in a couple weeks.

Having trouble with the scanners connecting via the OBDII port as well this evening.. crawl around it tomorrow

Sent this to autel..
I have what appears to BCM issues on a 2009 GM vehicle. What platform (s) allows my to read/clear/function test BCM codes?
Ideally I'd like one that does not need a subscription but not agay subscription versions..

In which I sent

Sorry I thought I was pretty clear. I am asking what diagnostic platforms can read clear and function test a GM Body control module on a 2009 GM vehicle?
If it can do U and C codes that would be helpful

Maybe I'm corporate stupid 🤷🏻‍♂️
Got this back yesterday..🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm having issues with comms through the OBDII port, went for a test drive through family farm, dash just randomly goes dead then comes back

IDK if there are non-solid state relays in the BCM that would make said clicking noise?

Disconnected the bats for 30m reconnected and it started..

IDK if the ECBM got damaged when I pulled it off the old abs pump or not..

Went through some snow drifts earlier, so now I've made a problem there🤦🏻‍♂️😂

There's can bus wires that run all the way back to the ITBC🤦🏻‍♂️

Don't know if you have this document but great for tracing down the serial data lines

The rough plan, was start with OBDII port, I'd loose comms with it first before anything else indicated a problem.
I've got the charm link think Ron posted, through logic reminds me of aldata🙄

Well that sucks! Those can be a pain to trace.... Didn't you have rust in the front of the floor board area?

I don't know if it changed, but I remember in 07/08 they had issue with chaffing near the front floor board due to the way the wire was routed.

I had a problem with my lmm and the harness on the drivers side floor if I remember correctly, or maybe is was my lbz I can’t remember. Whichever one it was, the chaffing was causing an intermittent no start.

Probably your LMM. The wires run across a seam or something and it rubs through the insulation.

Only wires thus far I've been able to get to do anything playing with them is wires off the OBDII port
What about the Mega fuse 175 amp on the fire wall? did it show signs of arcing or anything after the melt down?

Since you mentioned the OBD port and loss of CAN signal you can test it.
